The things of this world can never fill you up the way Jesus can.

You will never be able to eat enough, drink enough, cut enough, binge enough, cheat enough,snort enough, smoke enough, view enough obscene material on the computer, sleep around enough, and expect to fill that DEEP void in your life.

The only one who can fill that void Is Jesus Christ. I know as I tried for years to fill that void with things that only brought me more pain and heartache.

If you find yourself trying to fill that void with empty things of this world I encourage you to give your life to the Lord today and experience His grace and mercy. You can have freedom from those things you are chained to…you have to be willing to put your pride to the side and ask for help.

You can’t beat this on your own and you know that. You have tried many times and continue to find yourself saying, “Next time will be different!” but you and I know that is a lie.

Simply say this prayer, and believe with all your heart and soul, and you are saved, redeemed by His blood:

“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”

Isaiah 40:29-31 – He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers yeah strength to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will fall give up. But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Matt 11: 28-29 – Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
